Poster Design Competition

The New Jersey Comedy Festival is looking for new Poster Designs and is having a contest to entice creative visitors to submit their design ideas. This poster will be hung up at all participating campuses.

We will have a different NJCF poster designed by a college student attending college in the Garden State annually, is your chance to show your artistic talents and originality. Winning designs selected by New Jersey Comedy Festival team will be posted on the web, and mailed to participating schools.

For aspiring artists, this is a great opportunity to add to your portfolio of work and, if you win, to brag to your friends that your artwork will be on "display" all over the state.

As this is a contest, there is, of course, a prize to be won: winner will receive $1,000 in Cash and Prizes.

Poster Design Contest Guidelines

Eligibility

·	Must be a full or part time College student

Guidelines

·	Keep in mind the physical limits of printing. There should be a flyer size (8.5" x 11") and a poster size (11" x 17")
·	There are no restrictions on how creative, simple or crazy your design can be!
·	The design must be original.

Submission

·	There is a limit of three designs you can submit.
·	Send a version of your design in JPEG or PDF, 300 dpi format to info@newjerseycomedyfestival.com. Make sure the graphic is large enough that it can be seen clearly. Files should be no larger than 6mb.
·	Winners will be asked to submit a version of the design suitable for printing. It should be 600 dpi and, if possible, vector-based, although high-resolution rastor images will also be accepted.
·	All submissions become property of The New Jersey Comedy Festival.

Deadline

·	July 31st - 11:59pm

Prizes

·	$1,000 in Cash and Prizes for the winner.

Notification

·	Winners will be notified by the first week of August 2008
